7 majlis feature wall ideas with parametric design
The majlis is where guests are welcomed, so its main wall matters. Seven ways to use parametric design in a modern or traditional majlis.

The majlis is the most important room for welcoming guests in many UAE homes. It is often long, with seating along the walls and one main wall that everyone faces. That wall is the perfect place for a parametric design.
1. A Dune wall in sand tones
Our Dune design brings the soft ridges of the desert indoors. In oak or sand-coloured lacquer, it suits both traditional and modern seating.
2. Modern mashrabiya
A parametric mashrabiya screen can separate the men's and family majlis, frame an entrance or cover a window while keeping light.
3. Fluted wall with hidden storage
A Linear Flute wall can hide cabinets for incense, cups and serving trays, plus AC grilles and speakers.
4. A central wave panel
Keep most of the wall calm and place a Tidal Wave panel at the centre, framed by flutes.
5. Backlit arches
Ribbed arches with warm LED create niches for decorative pieces and give a soft evening glow.
6. Ceiling wrap
Continue the wall pattern onto the ceiling for a dramatic, enveloping room — especially in high-ceiling villas.
7. Acoustic comfort
Majlis rooms with hard floors can echo. Slats on acoustic felt reduce echo while looking like a feature wall. See acoustic panels.
